Klay Thompson played a 1-on-1 basketball game against streamer PlaqueBoyMax, and got clipped up after being hit with an incredible move.
Klay Thompson is widely considered one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. The 4-time champion has an incredible resume, and he was a nightmare to play against in his prime.
Thompson’s defence was never anything to sneeze at either, Klay made an All-Defensive Team in 2019, too. It’s safe to say that his 1-on-1 game has always been elite.
This was put to the test by 23-year-old streamer PlaqueBoyMax recently. The NBA star won the first game comfortably with a score of 21-8. But in the second game, things changed a little.

And while Klay did dominate their matchup overall, he surprisingly got cooked spectacularly on one play.
In their second game against one another, Thompson took a commanding 6-0 lead. But the streamer turned it on for a stretch after that, going on a 5-0 run that included a phenomenal highlight.
Max hit Thompson with back-to-back layups, which led to him commenting that everyone from New Jersey has a quick first step. On the play after that, the youngster drained a three-pointer.
The big moment came during the next point, where Klay got nutmegged by having the ball dribbled in between his legs. This led to a lot of celebrating and the 5-time All-Star admitting he needed to lock in.
This was more than enough for him, too, he won the game by not letting Max score a single point the rest of the way. But the clip has still gone viral, and it’ll be a memory to always cherish for the streamer.
