Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are weeks away from the start of the 2026 football season. What will be made of Coach Prime's fourth year in Boulder?
The Buffs finished the 2025 campaign with a 3-9 record on the books. The second season with a losing record since he left Jackson State in 2022. The program is less than two years removed from Travis Hunter winning the Heisman Trophy and being selected No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Can Sanders repeat the pattern of success from the 2024 season? After new coordinators and 45 new players joining the program, the odds are stacked against CU this season. Oddsmakers have the Buffs win total at 4.5 this season. Sanders would need a nine-win season to be .500 overall, and is currently 16-21 after three years.
Coach Prime is scheduled to meet with the media at CU's Media Day on Friday, August 14 at 1:30 p.m. ET. This will be one of the final times he'll address reporters before the season starts. Watch the press conference live below.
