Paige Bueckers had a memorable performance for the Dallas Wings against the Toronto Tempo on Wednesday night.
Bueckers has been one of the WNBA’s best players this season, averaging 20.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.
However, the 24-year-old struggled enormously in the first half of the Wings’ 94-88 victory over the Tempo.

When she finally made a three-point shot in the third quarter, she looked to the heavens and made a ‘thank you’ gesture.
Bueckers did not miss a shot in the third quarter, making four field goals and four free throws to score 13 points.
The All-Star point guard then scored another nine points in the fourth quarter to lead the Wings to victory.
Bueckers scored more points (22) in the second half against the Tempo than her season game average.
The Wings are now seventh in the WNBA standings with a 20-14 record, six weeks before the playoffs begin.
