Just before halftime, Houston Texans rookie safety Kamari Ramsey got his first interception.
It was first-and-10 for the Chargers deep inside Houston territory just outside the red zone. Ramsey jumped on a pass thrown by Trey Lance for the interception and returned it all the way to the Chargers' 48 to give the Texans the chance to score just before halftime.

Ultimately, Houston was not able to take advantage of this opportunity as rookie kicker Chris Freeman missed a 59-yard field goal as time expired in the first half.
The Texans are currently down 10-7.
