Jacksonville State football is back this week as the Gamecocks head north to face North Dakota State.
To start the 2026 season, Jax State is heading on the road to the FargoDome. The game will kick off at 4:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network. Jax State has not lost a Week 0 game since moving to the FBS level four years ago.
The Gamecocks are trying to make a third straight Conference USA title game, and will look to win it after dropping the 2025 game to Kennesaw State at AmFirst Stadium. The Gamecocks went 9-5 finishing the year with a Veterans Bowl win over Troy.
It will be the first FBS game for the Bison, who are making the move after dominating the FCS level with 10 national titles since 2011. This game is a rematch of the 2015 title game, where NDSU beat Jax State for the FCS title.
