What time is Clemson vs. LSU’s Week 1 College GameDay matchup?

Clemsonfootball’s return trip to Baton Rouge will come in one of the biggest television windows of opening weekend.

The Tigers will face LSU at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC on Aug. 29, putting the rematch in primetime with College GameDay already scheduled to be on site for the matchup.

The game has been circled for months, but the nighttime kickoff adds even more to what should be one of the loudest and most anticipated environments Clemson sees all season.

It will be the second straight year Clemson and LSU have opened the season against each other, this time with the game shifting to Tiger Stadium.

LSU came to Memorial Stadium last year and left with a 17-10 victory after Clemson took a 10-3 lead into halftime. The loss ended up being the beginning of a difficult season for Dabo Swinney’s team, which finished 7-6.

LSU also finished 7-6 and later moved on from Brian Kelly, creating a much different feel around the rematch.
