Russell Westbrook announced his retirement from basketball on Wednesday, Aug. 12. The 37-year-old guard spent 18 seasons in the NBA, and the first 11 of those years were with the OKC Thunder (2008-19). He ranks first in franchise history in regular-season points (18,859), assists (6,897), steals (1,442) and rebounds (5,760). Westbrook's résumé will make him a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He has one MVP award, two All-Star Game MVP awards, nine All-NBA selections and nine All-Star selections to his name, and he's the league's all-time leader in career triple doubles (209).
