Angel Reese is getting a lot of love online after her historically efficient performance in the Atlanta Dream’s latest win. There was one particular run she went on that fans enjoyed most.
Angel Reese is a superstar a lot of WNBA fans sometimes love to hate. The Atlanta Dream player has often dealt with criticism for her on-court performances, and specifically her efficiency.
Well, Reese took the first step in ending all those conversations on Thursday night. In the Dream’s 124-88 blowout win against the Los Angeles Sparks, Reese was so efficient that she made WNBA history.
Angel did not miss a single shot all night, going 9-9 from the field. At one point, the ‘Bayou Barbie’ went on a personal 10-0 run, a video of which is going viral on social media.

As such, she’s not enjoyed many iconic WNBA moments yet.
All that changed during the Sparks game. In the second quarter, Angel went on a personal 10-0 run, in which she made two three-pointers. A clip of it became the gathering place for her fans online.
“Seeing her expand her game out to the perimeter like this is massive,” one fan wrote. “Yeah, where the haters at now btw, Angel is incredible!” commented another.
“My girl is having herself a GAME!” a third fan said. “For all the hate she gets, anyone watching Reese knows that she is just getting better and better,” a fourth claimed.
“I just want to see her always taking those shots,” another fan said. “She has gotten better every season she’s been in the league. Put some respect on her name,” read a comment that summed up the sentiment.
Reese remains one of the biggest names in the W, and if she can back it up with performances like this, her fame will only grow. 100 percent efficiency is too much to always expect, but it shows she’s capable of true greatness.
