Where to watch Detroit Lions vs. Washington Commanders in NFL preseason

The Detroit Lions welcome in the Washington Commanders to Ford Field on Saturday for the second of the Lions' three 2026 preseason games.

Veteran quarterback Josh Dobbs is set for the starting nod, though rookie signal-caller Luke Altmyer is still expected to split reps throughout the contest.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Detroit intends to play a significant amount of starters against the Commanders, but he didn't divulge Detroit's full plan.

"I’m not going to tell you guys, but not everybody will play. I would tell you that. We are going to play a significant amount of the starters. That’s my plan right now," Campbell said.

As kickoff nears, here's where Detroit fans can watch the Lions versus the Commanders in NFL preseason action:

• TV: Fox 2 Detroit (WJBK)

Fans in the Detroit market can watch on Fox 2 Detroit. Jason Benetti (play-by-play), T.J. Lang (color analyst) and Patti Cesarini (sideline reporter) will be on the call from Ford Field.
