One of MLB's best ideas returns Sunday as the Milwaukee Brewers and Atlanta Braves face off in the Little League Classic.
The two division leaders will play before an intimate crowd that consists mostly of Little League World Series teams and their supporters at 100-year-old Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
The interaction between MLB and Little League players has become a highlight of the annual LLWS in Williamsport, and the major leaguers seem to get nearly as much out of it as their aspirational counterparts.
Beyond the off-the-field aspects, this year's matchup is about as good as it gets. The Brewers have the best record in the National League at 81-49 and the NL East-leading Braves aren't far behind at 75-55 despite a recent slump that has seen them drop eight of their last 10.
Milwaukee took the first two games of the weekend series at American Family Field and will look for the sweep Sunday. Here's when and where to tune in for all the festivities.
Where to watch MLB Little League ClassicThe main broadcast of Brewers vs. Braves will air on ESPN with Karl Ravech, Eduardo Perez and Buster Olney on the call. An alternate broadcast will be available on ESPN2 featuring Mike Monaco on play-by-play and Little League World Series alums Todd Frazier and Devon Travis in the booth. The alt-cast will also include special guests like Andrew McCutchen and former NHL star Ray Ferraro.
