Winners, losers in Arizona Cardinals' 34-13 preseason loss

The Arizona Cardinals lost their third preseason game to the Dallas Cowboys 34-13 on Saturday night at State Farm Stadium. It wasn't a great night on either side of the ball.

On defense, the Cardinals didn't force a single punt. The Cowboys rolled up 413 total yards of offense, 175 rushing yards and scored six times in nine possessions. They had three pass plays over 20 yards and two over 50 yards.

The Cardinals had two touchdowns taken off the board because of penalties and had eight penalties overall.

Individual players had good and bad nights.

Who were the winners and losers from the Cardinals' loss Saturday night?

Leota continued to show up in the preseason. He had five tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss. He also played 16 snaps on special teams, which might make him a lock for the roster as one of five outside linebackers.

Fairweather had five catches for 39 yards, but he was the culprit whose two penalties nullified touchdowns. His holding penalty took Evan Hull's touchdown run off the board, and he would have had a sixth catch and scored a touchdown had he not been flagged for offensive pass interference.

Fehoko had another preseason highlight with a spectacular 37-yard sideline catch. He had two receptions for 42 yards. He continues to make a case for the final roster.

Pryor started at right guard and is in the mix for the backup guard job, now that rookie Chase Bisontis is out for the season. However, he got spun around on a tackle for loss and also had a false start.

Sharar opened the game with a special teams tackle and got the start with Cody Simon. He had three tackles in 41 defensive snaps.
