Wisconsin Badgers quarterback named to 2026 Manning Award Watch List

The Wisconsin Badgers have had no shortage of struggles at the quarterback position under Luke Fickell.

Somehow, nearly none of it has been his fault.

Injuries have plagued this team's quarterback room time and time again, and they simply have never had the depth to compete in the Big Ten.

Here in 2026, Old Dominion transfer Colton Joseph is looking to flip the script.

Joseph is a true dual-threat quarterback who balled out in Week 1 a year ago against the Indiana, the future National Champions.

On Monday, August 24, Joseph was officially named to the Manning Award Watch List.

40 hopefuls were recognized in pursuit of being named the top quarterback in the country, so it's quite intriguing to see the Badgers' new quarterback, one of only nine juniors on the list, get that sort of recognition.

Dating back to its inception in 2004, no Wisconsin quarterback has ever won the Manning Award.
