Leeds United welcomed Charlie to Elland Road as he embarked on a 970-mile cycle fundraiser in support of Cancer Research UK.
Then 10-year-old made the pit-stop at LS11 after already cycling a mighty 205 miles in the first four days of the challenge as he looks to raise £10,000 for the charity.
From 15th August to 30th August 2026, Charlie will cycle an incredible 970 miles from Newcastle to the South Coast, visiting every Premier League stadium along the way before finishing at Southampton, his.
This challenge will push Charlie both physically and mentally. There will be long days in the saddle, tough weather conditions, and moments when he’ll want to give up. But knowing that every mile ridden is helping to fund life-saving research will keep him going.
Charlie's reasoning for the challenge is close to his heart, as he suffered the passing of his grandad at only 65-years-old from cancer, and now the youngster is fundraising to help support research and the fight against the disease.
Upon his arrival, Charlie was subject of a surprise visit as he was greeted by first team star Jayden Bogle, who was on hand at the stadium for his new contract signing.
Bogle provided Charlie with a signed shirt, and offered words of encouragement as the 10-year-old continued his difficult journey onwards.
