The Cincinnati Reds signed free agent infielder Orlando Arcia to a minor-league contract on Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to the MLB transactions page.

Arcia, who turned 32 last month, has been assigned to Triple-A Louisville, the team announced on social media.

In June, Arcia was released by the Minnesota Twins after appearing in 19 games. He hit .271 with two extra-base hits and two RBI.

Arcia spent five full seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers before being traded to the Atlanta Braves early in the 2021 season. He spent five seasons in Atlanta, where he won a World Series title (2021) and earned his lone All-Star nod in 2023.

Arcia appeared in 76 games during the 2025 season between Atlanta and Colorado.
