Saharan, who led India to the final of the U19 World Cup in 2024 before losing against Australia, helped the Bathinda Men Senior side lift the Punjab State Inter-District One Day Cup. Now 21, Saharan scored a century and two double hundreds in the tournament across five innings.
Bathinda started their campaign with a 136-run loss against Fazilka, but were on track with a mammoth 328-run victory against Moga. It was in this match that Saharan struck a 127-ball 203, his first double century of the tournament, to help Bathinda score a mammoth 471-5.
After seven against Muktsar, Saharan missed out on the fixture against Faridkot, while the subsequent games against Firozpur and Gurdaspur were also abandoned. However, Bathunda managed to qualify for the semi-final, where they played Fatehgarh.

Bathinda batted first and managed 491-7 in their 50 overs. Saharan registered 163 off 104 deliveries with 17 fours and nine sixes. He not only repeated that in the final, against Patiala, but went a notch higher to register his second double-hundred of the campaign.
Saharan scored 214 off just 149 balls in the final in Mohali while chasing 394, while Jashanpreet Singh Sidhu also got 128. The partnership for the second wicket lasted 276 runs and took only 213 balls. Bathinda got there with a ball to spare to lift the trophy.
Saharan was also the top-scorer for Punjab in the recent Ranji Trophy season, scoring 655 runs across seven matches with two hundreds and as many fifties. He brought up his maiden first-class hundred against Goa on the opening day of the third round of the 2025/26 Ranji Trophy.
