The team from Bayonne lost 6-0 to Davenport, Iowa in their Little League World Series matchup on Sunday.
The boys from Bayonne are coming off of a commanding 3-1 win over East Side Little League from West Chester, Pennsylvania on Friday night.
Even with a loss they are still not eliminated and have one more chance to make it. They now drop down to the elimination bracket and will play again on Tuesday night.
Residents of the Hudson County city have rallied around the boys and are buzzing with excitement with many watch parties set to be held around the city.
