Sometimes we need to be reminded that Ohio State football and other athletic events are just sports and nothing more. Sure, it can be exciting and memorable to have a great game or season, but other things in life matter much more.
On that note, Ohio Stadium is hosting a blood drive this week, and the Buckeyes are urging fans to get to the 'Ole Horseshoe and donate blood. We don't have to tell you how important this type of thing is. Having enough blood stockpiled in this country saves lives, and some of us have been the recipient of the kindness shown by those who took their time to do so.
Here are all the details you need to know to get out there on Wednesday and give to a cause that's always worth giving to. So, whether you donate regularly or have been thinking about it and just haven't been able to get it done, now is the time.
