Celtic continue their Scottish Premiership campaign with a home game against Falkirk at Celtic Park on Saturday.
Celtic F.C. have made a commanding domestic start, taking a perfect six points from their first two league fixtures. They opened their title defence with a narrow 1–0 victory over Dundee F.C., then followed up by crushing Kilmarnock F.C. 5–1. The Hoops also advanced comfortably in the League Cup, beating Dundee United 4–0. However, their European hopes took a blow midweek as they were thrashed 5–1 away by LASK in the playoff.

Captain Callum McGregor is a significant doubt after missing Friday’s main training session because of a stomach bug. O’Neill is optimistic McGregor might recover for kick-off, but his status remains uncertain.
Defensively, Celtic will definitely be without right-back Alistair Johnston, who is out until October after suffering a serious hamstring injury earlier this month versus Kilmarnock.
Portuguese winger Jota is also ruled out as he continues a lengthy rehabilitation from a major cruciate ligament injury.
On a brighter note, centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers and left-back Kieran Tierney have both shaken off minor knocks suffered midweek and are expected to start.
