The Charlotte Hornets received big news Wednesday, as the team has agreed to a new broadcasting deal for non-nationally televised games beginning during the 2026-27 season. These games will now air on WSOC Channel 9 and TV64 across the Charlotte region.

However, the Hornets have yet to announce a way for non-local fans to tune in, saying in a statement, "Details on the markets and television stations outside of Charlotte for fans to watch games throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, along with a direct-to-consumer streaming platform, will be announced at a later date."

Earlier this offseason, the Hornets had been linked to a direct-to-consumer deal with global sports platform DAZN, a deal that could still come to fruition but has yet to be reported. Charlotte's full regular season schedule will be released tomorrow.
