CLARK — Clark-Willow Lake senior boys basketball standout Chris Bevers has announced his college decision.
The 6-foot-3 senior guard has committed to play college basketball at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell.
Bevers announced his commitment recently on his Facebook page.

— Chris Bevers (@ChrisBevers5) August 13, 2026He has been a starter the past two seasons for Clark-Willow Lake teams that have qualified for the state Class A tournament. The Cyclones went 18-7 and finished eightH at state in 2025 and followed last winter by going 21-4 with a fourth-place finish at state.
Bevers earned third team Class A all-state honors from the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association after the 2025-26 season. He averaged 14.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for coach Jerome Nesheim's Cyclones.
He is a two-time All-Northeast Conference (second team in 2025-26, third team in 2024-25) and All-Lake Central Conference selection.
