Former Red Bull F1 team boss Christian Horner is set for a tour across the United Kingdom in October for his book ‘Drive’.
Following his unceremonious departure from Red Bull Racing after over two decades of service, Horner has remained in F1 limelight for months. He has been heavily linked to leading a consortium to buy the shares of Otro Capital to take a stake in Alpine Racing.
Horner links with Alpine, BYDMercedes chief Toto Wolff was believed to be in the running but Alpine F1 executive Flavio Briatore confirmed pullout from the Austrian. The Horner brigade continues to float around, which gained further momentum after his visit to the British GP at Silverstone this year.
It was his first public appearance since his departure from Red Bull and F1 midway in 2025, after which he was succeeded by Racing Bulls chief Laurent Mekies. It is not just Alpine, but Horner is also linked with Chinese EV car maker BYD, which showed interest in joining the motorsport world.
UK tour for book launchAside the business talks, Horner announced his book ‘Drive’ at the sidelines of it. It is his memoir, covering the years he spent in F1, especially as boss of Red Bull Racing. It is due to be released on October 22 and he has scheduled a UK tour for fans to know more about the book.
“This autumn, I’ll be heading out on a UK book tour to celebrate the publication of my memoir, Drive,” wrote Horner. “I’ll be reflecting on the defining moments of my career, the experiences from more than two decades in Formula One, and the highs and lows of leading a team at the very top of the sport.
“We’ll also have a live Q&A, giving you the chance to ask your own questions and hear some of the stories from behind the scenes. Every ticket includes a copy of Drive,” he added. He is due to visit five places between October 17 and October 26, as shared below.
