CORNELIUS, N.C. — The Bailey Road Park tennis complex in Cornelius has achieved national recognition by receiving the 2026 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Outstanding Facility Award. Opened in October 2025, the expanded Bailey Road Park features 12 lighted courts, a significant upgrade from its original six-court layout. The transformation of the facility was made possible through a collaborative effort involving the town of Cornelius, USTA, USTA Southern, USTA North Carolina, and the Lake Norman Tennis Association.
