Crystal Palace set €60m asking price for Galatasaray target Ismaila Sarr

Pierre Sage is at Selhurst Park with the Eagles. Crystal Palace have set a €60 million asking price for attacker Ismaila Sarr following an ambitious approach from Turkish champions Galatasaray, according to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.

The Super Lig side have identified Sarr as a marquee target to strengthen their attack before the transfer deadline.

Galatasaray recently submitted an official opening bid to test Palace, but the Eagles immediately rejected the proposal and have now set a €60m valuation.

Sarr’s importance to Crystal Palace cannot be overstated after an outstanding 2025/26 campaign. The ‘phenomenal’ Senegal international finished as the club’s top scorer, netting 21 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.

He was especially pivotal in Europe, scoring nine goals to help Palace lift the UEFA Conference League trophy.

With three years left on Sarr’s contract at Selhurst Park, Palace are under no pressure to sell. Head coach Pierre Sage is keen to retain such a key attacking threat ahead of his first season in South London.

Meeting Palace’s €60 million valuation would pose a major financial challenge for Galatasaray, even though the Turkish club have shown significant ambition in recent transfer windows.

Sarr remains settled in South London and is expected to continue playing a central role in Palace’s first-team plans.

Unless Galatasaray return with a much improved offer that meets Palace’s €60m threshold, the Senegal international is expected to stay at Selhurst Park for the upcoming Premier League season.

Galatasaray are also working on a move for another Premier League player, Pape Matar Sarr, but their €18m offer was rejected due to Tottenham’s €25m valuation.

Meanwhile, Palace are pursuing their own signings, with Auxerre midfielder Kevin Danois among their top targets.
