Daniel Dye inks full-time 2027 NASCAR deal in O'Reilly Series

Daniel Dye signed a new full-time NASCAR contract for 2027 and made a little bit of history in the process.

The DeLand native inked the first multi-year agreement ever for a Jordan Anderson Racing driver, the organization announced Aug. 28 at Dye's home track, Daytona International Speedway. He will pilot the No. 32 Chevrolet in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.

“I feel like there is so much that I want to prove as a driver and show that I belong at this level each week,” Dye said in a news release. “I think Jordan and everyone at the team have very similar goals to mine. They’ve been steadily climbing the ladder year after year, and I’m proud that I have the chance to be a part of this team’s growth.”

Champion Container will serve as Dye’s sponsor. He will also continue his work with the Race to Stop Suicide initiative focused on erasing the stigma around mental health.

“A multi-year agreement provides both Daniel and our organization with the long-term stability that is so valuable in racing,” team president Jordan Anderson said in the release. “It allows us to plan beyond one season, make deliberate investments in the people, tools and resources around the No. 32 program and continue growing together with a clear direction.

“Our responsibility is to give Daniel everything he needs to succeed, and we are committed to building an environment where he and this team can compete at a high level for years to come.”

Despite being just 22, Dye has experience across all of NASCAR’s national touring circuits.

The Father Lopez graduate owns 48 career starts across four years in the O’Reilly Series, picking up 10 top-10s. He also ran two full slates in the Truck Series and debuted in the Cup Series earlier this season.

“I wake up and it feels like I should still be dreaming,” Dye said.
