A planned evening qualifying session for the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT has been cancelled due to forecasted heavy showers.
Organisers said roads around the 37.7 mile (61km) Mountain Course, which had been due to close from 18:00 BST on Wednesday, would now remain open.
The decision followed the use of a contingency road-closure period on Wednesday afternoon after disruption to the opening sessions due to poor weather and red flag incidents.
Clerk of the course Gary Thompson confirmed a similar extra session – between 12:30 and 17:00 on Thursday – would be used as a result.
Those closures are set to be followed by the planned evening session, from 18:00 until no later than 21:00, which is set to see classes in both the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT take to the circuit.
The two events are run in parallel to each other, under the control of Thompson, in late August each year.

Qualifying was again abandoned on Tuesday after a fatal crash involving two riders at Cruickshanks, in Ramsey, during the opening lap of the evening.
Organisers have since confirmed Mauro Poncini, 29, from Switzerland, died as a result of the incident, with the other taken to hospital with minor injuries.
