ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) -- Something new for WFXR Sports…….as Wednesday we held our First College Kickoff 2026 - Local Small College Football Media Days at the WFXR Studios. Wednesday, the head coach and a couple of players from the football programs of Southern Virginia University, Ferrum College, Virginia University of Lynchburg, and Roanoke College as well as on Monday with Washington and Lee University appeared to talk about their upcoming seasons. We will have their full media day interviews on WFXR+ as well as a portion of the interview will air on WFXR.
