Giannis Antetokounmpo and his new team, the Miami Heat, are set to take on the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. The Greek Freak is feeling good about it too, making a bold proclamation.

In what is arguably the biggest move of the NBA offseason, the Miami Heat traded for Giannis Antetokounmpo. For the first time ever, he will suit up for a team which is not the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Giannis move has been coming for a long time, and it’s interesting to see that he’s moved within the Eastern Conference. That means a lot of the rivalries will continue to grow.

During his time with the Bucks, Giannis had many battles with the Boston Celtics. And as per the newly released Christmas Day schedule, he’ll face them on the NBA regular season’s biggest night.

Antetokounmpo is a two-time MVP and an NBA champion. When he says he’s going to do something, those words tend to carry a lot of impact.

And while discussing his upcoming Christmas Day performance, Giannis said in no uncertain terms that he’ll be bringing home the win for Miami when they face the Celtics.

“I’m not going to lie, I also enjoy being home with my kids on Christmas, but there’s nothing better than a little kid opening his gift and turning on the TV and watching an NBA game,” Antetokounmpo said.

“So I’m excited for that, and I’m gonna put on a show. And I’m gonna get a win, too.”

After a few seasons spent in mediocrity with the Bucks, Antetokounmpo will be raring to go with the Heat. He has repeatedly stated his desire to win, and this fire should worry fans of other Eastern Conference teams.
