SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) —The Central Bobcats hosted Lubbock Coronado in a preseason scrimmage Thursday night at San Angelo Stadium, and now they can look forward to next Friday's season opener against Abilene High at San Angelo Stadium.
The Bobcats and Eagles are facing off in Week 1 for the third-straight year.
Central has 11 combined starters back on offense and defense.
The Bobcats have been picked to finish third in District 2-6A behind longtime rivals Odessa Permian and Midland Lee.
