Toronto fell into a double-digit hole in the first half and never really recovered on Monday night in a 107-95 road loss to the Atlanta Dream for their ninth consecutive loss. Marina Mabrey finished with 36 points for the Tempo while Kiki Rice came off the bench for 18 points and six assists and Nyara Sabally went for 12 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Julie Allemand left with a thigh injury and is a game-time decision for Wednesday night.

The Wings last played Sunday, dropping a 103-90 decision on the road to the Minnesota Lynx to fall to 2-6 in their last eight games. All-Star Jessica Shepard sprained an ankle and won’t play Wednesday while Azzi Fudd missed her second straight game with a sore knee. Paige Bueckers posted 23 points and eight assists, Aziaha James came off the bench for a season-high 19 points, and Odyssey Sims added 17 points.

Dallas, looking to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2023, is led by Bueckers’ averages of 20.1 points and 5.8 assists. Arike Ogunbowale nets 14.5 points per game. Mabrey scores an average of 20.7 points for the Tempo, with Sabally getting 12.6 points per game, Isabelle Harrison posting 12.4 points and 5.5 rebounds a night, and Allemand handing out 5.7 assists per contest.
