Hull KR's hopes of a top-four finish in Super League were dealt a blow when they suffered a shock loss to Toulouse, their second home defeat within five days.

The Robins would have climbed to have fourth if they had won and instead remain sixth, facing up to the prospect of being away in the first round of the play-offs next month.

Mathieu Jussaume scored in the first half before the French side went up through the gears after half-time with Romeo Tropis crossing the line twice and Anthony Marion, Paul Ulberg and Luke Polselli touching down.

Elliot Minchella and Louix Gorman scored tries for Hull KR, who put in an error-strewn performance.
