Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark’s recent gift for her teammates might have revealed her locker room nickname.

Clark had a 29-point double-double with 10 assists in the Fever’s 98-87 win over the Dallas Wings on Saturday, after which she gifted her teammates a bunch of Nike shoes, including the unreleased ‘CC 1.’

Fever guard Tyasha Harris was the one who revealed what gifts Clark gave her teammates, but she also gave fans the gift of hearing her nickname for the 24-year-old Fever star.

Caitlin Clark’s new nickname draws fan buzz

In her video, Harris refers to Clark as ‘Calvin,’ with the Fever star responding to the nickname.

It’s unclear if anyone else in the locker room uses it, but Harris’ reveal and fans’ reaction might lead to this becoming popular.

“I want to know the lore. Why does she call CC Calvin?” said one curious fan.

“I thought that’s what Ty called her but wasn’t sure,” said a fan who was surprised to hear this nickname.

“‘Calvin” is so generous,” said another fan.

One fan even tried explaining why Caitlin could be nicknamed ‘Calvin,’ as it’s a reference to the 30th U.S. President Calvin Coolidge, who also had the initials CC.

Clark has jokingly been nicknamed ‘The President’ by Minnesota Lynx players Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman, with this likely being a continued reference to that nickname.

Another popular nickname for Clark has been Baby GOAT, given by teammate Sophie Cunningham in relation to Diana Taurasi.

All nicknames for her are extra, as she will always be most remembered by her initials, CC. Everything else is extra, as she already has iconic initials to serve as her nickname.
