MLB's Field of Dreams tribute at the All-Star Game in July was only the beginning.

The league's Field of Dreams Game, which received rave reviews when it was played in 2021 and 2022, is back for the first time in four years from Dyersville, Iowa, allowing nostalgic fans to relive the iconic movie in real life.

The Phillies and Twins are rising to the occasion with throwback uniforms specifically for the game, in line with the Yankees and White Sox in 2021 and the Cubs and Reds in 2022.

Here's a look at each team's uniform and the stories behind them.

The Phillies are throwing it back all the way to 1939-41, which is when they wore the uniforms that inspired this year's Field of Dreams look.

Philadelphia is wearing a gray uniform with the same "Phillies" script that was worn in those three seasons. The wordmark is red with a navy blue outline, and the Phillies are wearing a navy blue cap with a red block "P" logo.

The jersey even features the same "baseball centennial" patch that was worn by the team in 1939.

The Twins are wearing their home uniform from 1961-1971, donning a white jersey with navy blue pinstripes and a "Twins" script across the chest. The script is navy blue with a red outline, as are the numbers on the back.

If the jersey looks familiar, that's because the Twins wore a cream-colored edition as an alternate look from 2010-18. 

The set will also feature a hat with the Twins' former "TC" logo, which was modernized slightly in 2023. This version of the "TC" logo will resemble the one used during the 1960s.

Minnesota borders Iowa, so a smaller-capacity crowd could feature plenty of Twins fans wearing similar jerseys.
