OGDENSBURG — Jack Mills showcased his exceptional golfing skills as he defended his title at the St. Lawrence State Park Club Championship, defeating Gavin Moran in a closely contested finals match. Mills entered the championship with a strong sense of confidence, particularly in his putting game, which had proven to be a decisive factor throughout the tournament.
In the semi-finals, Mills demonstrated his prowess by sinking a remarkable 40-foot putt on the second playoff hole against Mason Maroney, a moment that undoubtedly bolstered his confidence heading into the finals. The finals, held on a beautiful morning ideal for golf, saw Mills take control early on. He made three birdies on the front nine, finishing with an impressive score of 34.
