Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was spotted on the sideline of Friday night's preseason game by Juston Lewis of the Florida Times-Union wearing a brace on his right hand.

Afterward, head coach Liam Coen said that Meyers jammed it. Lewis noted that Meyers did exit the final drive during Wednesday's joint practice.

As for whether or not Meyers takes part in next week's joint practice with Tampa Bay remains to be seen.

"We'll see where it's at when we get to Tuesday and just kind of see," Coen said. "We don't want to push it too much."

The addition of Meyers to last year's team at the trade deadline was vital to the success that the Jaguars' offense had during the second half of the year.

Meyers provided a reliable presence as a pass catcher and someone who was willing to work the intermediate routes and over the middle of the field, which not only led to production for him but also created opportunities for others in the offense.

The Jaguars could turn to either CJ Williams and/or Josh Cameron to step into larger roles if needed.
