Tennessee (2-0) defeated Seattle (0-2), 19-16, on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. 49,194 were in attendance for the preseason Week 2 NFL game.
Two quarterbacks who played for Josh Heupel in the SEC appeared in the game.
Drew Lock started for the Seahawks and completed 12-of-14 passing attempts for 103 yards and one touchdown. He also totaled eight rushing yards on two attempts.
Lock played at Missouri from 2015-18 and was selected by Denver in the second round of the NFL draft in 2019. Heupel served as Missouri's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2016-17.
Former Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker also appeared in the preseason contest for the Titans. He completed 2-of-2 passing attempts for 35 yards, while finishing the game with -2 rushing yards on three attempts.
The Titans signed Hooker on April 1. He played at Tennessee under Heupel from 2021-22 after transferring from Virginia Tech. Hooker was named 2022 SEC Offensive Player of the Year.
