Keon Coleman caught a touchdown from Josh Allen in the Bills preseason opener, and is now dealing with an injury.

According to the media in attendance for Buffalo’s early-morning open practice inside the new Highmark Stadium on Tuesday, the third-year receiver was not participating.

Further, he was spotted in a walking boot. Here’s proof:

Here’s the full list of Bills not practicing before heading to Cleveland for a joint practice with the Browns on Thursday:

Bills not practicing:

DT Ed Oliver
WR Khalil Shakir
WR Keon Coleman (walking boot)
WR Skyler Bell
RB Ty Johnson
C Connor McGovern
S C.J. Gardner-Johnson
S Jalon Kilgore

Safety Cole Bishop and cornerback Max Hairston are back.

Now, the fact that many of those full-time players / starters is not an indication that they’re nursing any major injuries. Joe Brady did mention Skyler Bell was dealing with a lower-body injury which kept him out of the Bills preseason game against the Panthers last Saturday. We know about McGovern, Johnson, and Garnder-Johnson.

There has been no indication of ailments to Oliver, Shakir, or Kilgore.

And the returns of Bishop and Hairston are encouraging.

However, Coleman in a walking boot means he absolutely is dealing with some degree of an injury.
