Rams guard Justin Dedich is practicing for the first time since training camp started. Still has a big wrap on his hand.
— Nate Atkins (@NateAtkins_) August 24, 2026Dedich served as the team's backup guard last season, replacing Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson when they missed games, and made six total starts. He's also Coleman Shelton's replacement, should the center be unable to participate.
Dedich began camp on the non-football injury list after suffering a hand injury at home around the Fourth of July. The injury was not related to holiday firework celebrations; instead, it was a freak accident after an item fell on Dedich's hand.
The 2024 UDFA from USC is entering the third year of his professional career, having already amassed 29 regular-season appearances, with nine games started.
