La Liga outfit Levante have this week tied up a surprise deal for an up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at Premier League heavyweights Liverpool.
The Reds starlet primed to take his talents to Spain for the season ahead comes in the form of Ifeanyi Ndukwe.
Ndukwe, for his part, is an 18-year-old defender, who chiefly lines out in a central role. An Austrian youth international, the towering stopper had long been making waves in his home country, on the books of Austria Wien.
This reputation recently culminated in a move to England with the aforementioned Liverpool, amid high hopes of Ndukwe ultimately developing into a first-team option at Anfield.
As alluded to above, though, for the year ahead, the youngster will be tasked with earning senior minutes for himself in the top-flight of Spanish football.
As per a report from transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Levante have agreed on loan deal to sign Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Liverpool. The Spanish club will cover his salary as straight loan deal has been verbally agreed today.’
