LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) -- Coming up this Friday at 7 p.m. at Liberty Christian Academy, a special ceremony we take place during the Bulldogs football benefit game against Appomattox. During halftime, LCA will recognize former LCA athletic director and football coach, Frank Rocco. The school will unveil the "Rocco Rock" as a memorial to the legacy that Coach Rocco has had on LCA Athletics. During his 20 years as head coach, over 2 stints Rocco led the Bulldogs to a pair of VHSL Class 3 state titles as well as 6 VISAA titles and won 199 games.
