The standout performer of the game was sophomore wide receiver Logan Lindsey Hartwig, who scored three touchdowns, helping his team maintain an unbeaten record of 3-0 this season.
Coach Kevin Thompson, who has been navigating a challenging season, was cautious even after his team dominated the first half, leading 17-0 at the break. "I know who I’m coaching. ... When we went into that locker room, I said, ‘Well, let’s see (which team) we get in the second half,’" Thompson remarked, highlighting his team's inconsistency. Despite a strong opening, the Broncos faced a spirited comeback attempt from the Bulldogs in the second half.
During the first half, Palm Beach Central capitalized on their opportunities, scoring on two long passes and forcing three turnovers.
