Tulsa Booker T. Washington guard Jacques Mitchell announced his commitment to the Mississippi State men's basketball 2027 recruiting class Sunday.
Mitchell, a three-star prospect, is ranked as the No. 31 combo guard nationally in 247Sports' national boys basketball rankings for the class of 2027.

Mitchell has been a key piece of Tulsa Booker T. Washington’s success throughout his high school career. As a sophomore, he was named to The Oklahoman’s2025 Super 5 Class 5A All-State team after helping lead the program to its 18th state title.
He followed with another strong season as a junior, averaging 15.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.5 steals per game. Tulsa Booker T. Washington finished 25-2 before its season ended in the state quarterfinals.
