Five members of the Oregon football team were among the 26 players announced as first-team preseason all-Americans by USA TODAY Sports on Aug. 19.

The Ducks had more players selected than any other program.

Senior quarterback Dante Moore was one of three offensive players selected, along with senior tight end Jamari Johnson and senior center Iapani Laloulu, who was a Rimington Award finalist last season.

The Ducks' defensive players selected were sophomore corner back Brandon Finney Jr., and senior defensive tackle A'Mauri Washington.

Teams with the next-most number of players named first-team preseason all-American were reigning College Football Playoff champion Indiana and Texas. Both had three players on the list.
