ROYAL PALM BEACH — Pahokee's wild 'Hail Mary' play to defeat Royal Palm Beach has made national news.

Saturday morning's ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 plays featured the double pass to Corian Davis as time expired as the No. 1 play.

"Final play, that's Pahokee's Uzarus Boswell airing it out to Corian Davis," the broadcast said. "Davis comes down with it in traffic and then just takes off. So traffic and speeding, not unlike Palm Beach itself."

Pahokee head coach Carlos Lammons has seen a lot of great plays as a player and coach, but nothing of "this magnitude" sticks out. He thinks when the 2026 season is said and done with, it could be recognized as the Play of the Year.

"I think it can be," he said. "I think it will be. I think it should be. Yeah, that was electrifying, man. Hats off to Corian Davis."

When Davis looks back at the play, it's a bit of a blur. But one thing is for certain. He knew someone needed to step up with the game on the line.

"To be honest, I really can't tell you what went on," he said. "All I can tell you that the quarterback made a good throw. I looked at the time. There wasn't really that much time left on the bar. So somebody had to make a big play and I made that big play. And we're gonna keep on doing it the whole year, the whole season."
