A potential move across the Atlantic to join the MLS is officially on hold for Paul Pogba amid ongoing talks with Monaco.
Paul Pogba’s attempt to reignite his career at Monaco has been anything but smooth. Limited mostly to substitute appearances in Ligue 1 due to persistent physical issues.
However, his resume speaks for itself. He dominated Italy with four straight Serie A titles at Juventus before winning the Europa League with Manchester United. And his career peak came as the engine of France’s 2018 World Cup triumph.
And as we see with many players nowadays, it seems as if he’s wanting to try a new challenge with a move to Major League Soccer, having seen the likes of Casemiro make the transition.

Discussions over an early exit from Monaco are underway and are expected to be concluded soon.
He has previously been linked to DC United and Inter Miami, but after sustaining a hamstring injury at Monaco’s pre-season training camp in England earlier this week, it could delay his anticipated switch.
Of course, it could be nothing and a matter of days to recover, as Monaco have refused to comment at this moment in time.
However, the one positive is that it looks as if his contract will be ripped up shortly.
