Ty Simpson will likely look to build upon what was a nice showing last Saturday. Stetson Bennett, if given the chance, would likely like to have a bit of a better showing than what he showed last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. He also may have shown enough in practice to make the Rams feel good about Bennet as their QB2.
It’s an interesting preseason for the Rams who legitimately appear to be trying to figure out the order of their quarterbacks room after Matthew Stafford.
The New Orleans Saints are in a similar spot. They appear to have their starting quarterback figured out with Tyler Shough, though he’s only going into his second season. Who’s going in behind Shough? The Saints are still figuring out that out. Spencer Rattler is a possibility, but similar to the Rams, after their starter, there seems to be some genuine competition in the QB room.
