Rodri To Start, Bernal On The Bench | 4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup Vs Rayo Vallecano

Barcelona will entertain Rayo Vallecano at the Nou Camp this Monday night as they hope to earn all three points at home in La Liga. The Catalan giants managed to secure a solid 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao recently, which should give them some confidence going into this clash.

Hansi Flick will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Rodri could play from the start of this contest, while Marc Bernal makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Joan Garcia will function in between the sticks for the Catalan club after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Pau Cubarsi will operate alongside Gerard Martin at the heart of the Barcelona backline as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.

Eric Garcia will fill in as the right-back once again, while Xavi Espart hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Jules Kounde will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Rodri and Pedri will play as the holding midfielders for Barcelona as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition in the middle of the park and orchestrate some clear-cut chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Anthony Gordon, Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal will play just ahead of them as part of Flick’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if Barca are to earn another convincing win in front of their home fans.

Marc Bernal and Dani Olmo will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.

Raphinha will lead the charge for the Catalan outfit up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet and make a difference against Rayo Vallecano at the Nou Camp this Monday night.

Karim Adeyemi will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if needed.
