The time has finally come. After months of wringing our hands over the Crysencio Summervilles and Mason Greenwoods of the world, we can finally focus on what matters: the matches! While Serie A broke the seal over the weekend, Roma supporters had to wait an extra 48 hours for their first taste of the new-look Giallorossi.

However, they may have saved the best for last as Gian Piero Gasperini’s side plays host to Fabio Grosso and Fiorentina in front of a sold-out Stadio Olimpico. With young players ready to stake their claim in the lineup and a handful of new faces eager to impress the Eternal City, we’re in for an exciting season.

And the intrigue has started already, as Gasperini has thrown new signing Rodrigo Mora and young Emanuele Lulli into the starting lineup.
