Houston Texans WR Jayden Higgins (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during a joint practice Tuesday, Aug. 18, and will miss the 2026 season, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Huddle Up: Higgins was set to have a solid role in the passing game this upcoming season, but Tank Dell and Jaylin Noel will likely take over his targets during the season. Dell is coming back from a serious knee injury but was productive before the injury and can be a late round pick if he rejoins the starting lineup. Noel could be an option in some deeper leagues but will not be a starting fantasy option.
