Texas A&M star WR named to the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List

Texas A&M's passing attack took a hit after star wide receiver KC Concepcion was selected 24th overall by Cleveland Browns, but before the Aggies lost to Miami in the first round of the College Football Playoff back in December, fellow star wideout Mario Craver re-signed with the program after reeling in 59 receptions for 917 yards and 4 touchdowns, combined with 81 rushing yards on 11 carries and one touchdown.

One of the fastest and most efficient route runners in the country, Mario Craver was named to the Coaches All-SEC First Team as a wide receiver and all-purpose player, and will serve as starting quarterback Marcel Reed's No. 1 receiver, potentially Concepcion's replacement as the primary punt returner.

Standing 5'9", Craver's elite speed and twitch make up for his lack of size, and after the Aggies landed Alabama transfer WR Isaiah Horton, who stands 6'4", Craver will more than likely spend most of his time in the slot, but could easily play the Z or X based on the coverage situation. Either way, Texas A&M's 2026 wide receiver room is the deepest in the SEC.

On Wednesday, Mario Craver was named to the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List, joining a host of elite wide receivers. Combined with two seasons at Mississippi State, Craver has appeared in 21 career games, including 12 starts, totaling 76 receptions for 1,285 yards and seven touchdowns, while adding 88 rushing yards on 14 carries and one touchdown.
