Audacy's WEEI-FM (WEEI), the New England Sports Network (NESN), and the Boston Red Sox are proud to announce that the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon presented by Arbella Insurance will be held at Fenway Park on Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 6 a.m. to midnight on both days. Emmy winning journalist, actress, and host of Heal Squad podcast, Maria Menounos, will throw out the first pitch on Monday, August 17, and country singer Jillian Cardarelli will sing the national anthem that evening.
The 24th annual fundraiser benefits the Jimmy Fund, which directly supports adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Dana-Farber) and has raised more than $80 million since it launched in 2002.
Viewers and listeners can tune in and support this year's WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon on WEEI (93.7 FM) radio and NESN to hear inspirational stories from Dana-Farber patients, their family members, care team and supporters. Additionally, NESN will air complete Radio-Telethon coverage from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days on YouTube and X. A special hour-long "best of" show, will be aired following the game both days on NESN, YouTube and X. Also joining the broadcast will be Jimmy Fund Co-Chairs Tom Caron and Brock Holt, Jimmy Fund Captain and Boston Red Sox pitcher Garrett Whitlock, and celebrity guests.
Special on-field ceremonies will be held on both nights prior to the Red Sox games against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Dana-Farber adult and pediatric patients will participate in special pre-game moments, including throwing ceremonial first pitches, singing the national anthem, announcing "play ball," and taking part in other on-field activities. On Monday at 3 p.m., the Radio-Telethon will feature a special simulcast with leadership from Boston's professional sports teams.
"This inspiring radio and television broadcast live from Fenway Park is an incredible way to bring together Red Sox fans and supporters to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. Tune in on August 17 and 18 to hear inspirational patient stories and make a gift of any size to help strike out cancer," said Jimmy Fund co-chairs Tom Caron and Brock Holt. "We look forward to celebrating stories of hope and support for cancer care and research at Dana-Farber."
